Application Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

At Muharrik Albarmajyat Establishment, we believe that professional software should be fast, native, and respect the sovereignty of the user’s data. Our development philosophy follows a “Zero-Connectivity,” “Performance-First,” and “Privacy-by-Design” mandate: every application we build works fully offline, contains no advertising or analytics, and never requires you to create an account.

1. Offline-First & Data Sovereignty

Our applications (including Folder Colors and others) are engineered for offline use.

  • Zero Server Connectivity: Our apps do not connect to our own servers during operation.
  • Local Processing: All data processing, configuration changes, and system optimizations happen locally on your device. We do not “phone home” or collect telemetry about your usage habits.
  • Exceptions: If a specific application requires an internet connection for a functional reason (e.g., a real-time update or a network tool), we will explicitly list that requirement and the specific data used within that application’s internal documentation and dedicated settings page.

2. No Advertising, Analytics, or Tracking

We want to be completely explicit on this point: none of our applications contain an advertising framework, an analytics SDK, or any tracking technology.

  • No Ads: We do not integrate any ad network or ad-serving library (for example, Google AdMob or Meta Audience Network). Our apps are never ad-supported.
  • No Analytics SDKs: We do not embed third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs (for example, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Mixpanel) inside our applications.
  • No Profiling or Behavioral Tracking: We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles of our users, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • No In-App Tracking Identifiers: Our desktop applications do not use tracking cookies or persistent advertising identifiers.

In short: we never collect, use, or share personal information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or tracking purposes — because we simply do not have the infrastructure to do so in the first place.

3. No Accounts & No Personal Data Collected by Us

None of our applications offer, or require, the ability to sign up or log in with an account. There is no username, password, email address, or profile of any kind associated with using our software.

Because there is no account system and no analytics, we — the developer — have no way of knowing:

  • Who you are, your name, or your contact details;
  • Your age, gender, or any other demographic information;
  • What device, computer, or hardware you are using;
  • How often you open the app, when you use it, or for how long; or
  • Your location, IP address, or any other identifier.

Any file you organize, note you take, or setting you change stays on your own device and is never transmitted to us.

4. Data Shared by App Store Partners (Microsoft, Google & Apple)

The only data we ever receive about our apps comes from the app stores that distribute them: the Microsoft Store, the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Store.

  • What we receive: Aggregate, anonymized statistics such as install counts, star ratings, written reviews, and crash or diagnostic reports — never a profile of an individual person.
  • Only with your consent: This information reaches us only if you have chosen to participate in that platform’s own optional diagnostics or “help improve” program (for example, Windows diagnostic data, Google Play’s crash and performance reporting, or Apple’s App Analytics). If you opt out at the operating-system level, that data is never generated or shared with us.
  • Governed by their policies, not ours: Microsoft, Google, and Apple are independent data controllers for this information. Their own privacy policies — not this one — govern how they collect it from your device and operating system.
  • Never used for advertising: We use this data only to fix bugs and improve app stability and quality. We never use it to advertise to you, build a profile of you, or track you.

5. Children’s Privacy & COPPA Compliance

Our applications are general-audience productivity and utility tools and are not directed at children. That said, because we do not operate any accounts, advertising, or analytics systems, our apps are compliant with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent “designed for families” requirements by design, for users of any age:

  • We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
  • We do not show behavioral or targeted advertising to any user, of any age.
  • We do not use persistent identifiers to track children, or any user, across sessions, apps, or websites.
  • We do not require account creation, so no child is ever asked to submit a name, email address, or date of birth to us.

If a parent or guardian believes that personal information has somehow been submitted to us in connection with a child’s use of our apps, please contact us using the details below and we will investigate and delete it promptly.

6. European Users — GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, we confirm the following under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Lawful basis: We do not process personal data through our applications, so no lawful basis under Article 6 GDPR is required for app usage itself. Where you voluntarily contact us (for example, by email or WhatsApp for support), our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
  • Data controller: Muharrik Albarmajyat Establishment acts as data controller only for the limited, voluntary contact information you choose to share with us directly (such as a support email). We are not the controller for data collected by app store platforms, which act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
  • Your rights: You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port any personal data we hold about you, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we collect no data through the apps themselves, these rights are inherently satisfied by design; we will still promptly honor any request relating to voluntary contact data.
  • No automated decision-making: We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
  • Right to complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your rights under the GDPR have been infringed.

7. Saudi Arabian Legal Compliance (PDPL)

As a Saudi Arabian establishment, we comply with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes, claims, or legal matters arising from the use of our applications shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Court of Law: The courts of Saudi Arabia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings.
  • Language: In accordance with local regulations, Arabic is the required and official language for any formal legal proceedings or documentation submitted to the courts.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

To further protect your privacy and reduce background bloat, Muharrik Albarmajyat Establishment does not handle your payment or credit card information directly.

  • All financial transactions, licenses, and subscriptions are managed by the authorized platform where you purchased the app (e.g., Microsoft Store, Google Play, Apple App Store, or other official resellers).
  • Please refer to the privacy policy of the respective platform for details on how they secure your payment data.

9. Performance-First Development

We place the burden of performance on our developers, not our users.

  • We reject “bloated” frameworks and background-heavy processes.
  • On every platform, we build using that platform’s fastest native language — C++ on Windows, Kotlin on Android, and Swift on Apple platforms (macOS, iOS, and beyond) — never a virtual machine or a cross-platform framework such as .NET or Proton. This keeps every app professional, lightweight, and quick, without wasting your system resources.

10. Third-Party Platforms & Store Policies

Our apps are distributed through the Microsoft Store, the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Store. Account creation, payment processing, app downloads, and any platform-level diagnostics are handled entirely by these platforms as independent data controllers. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before installing or purchasing an app.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect new applications, platforms, or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Your Rights & Contact Us

Under the PDPL, GDPR, COPPA, and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to know how your data is used. Since our apps operate offline and do not collect your data, your “Right to Erasure” and “Right to Access” are effectively maintained by the fact that you have full control over the local files on your machine.

If you have any questions about this policy, or wish to exercise any privacy right regarding voluntary contact information you’ve shared with us, please reach out through the Contact Us details on our homepage (WhatsApp, Email, or Telegram).
